Brand: Castle of Frankenstein
In Castle of Frankenstein #44 we review moviegoers’ obsession with Obsession, the film that has taken the entertainment industry by storm, particularly because it didn’t originate from Hollywood’s usual suspects. We examine how Universal’s 1940s mummy movies thrived during wartime when the world eventually got wise to Hitler and needed big-screen distractions. We also consider the Western television shows that galloped into horror territory; we dig deep into the many adaptations of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novella Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde; we profile the overlooked talent of Darby Jones; we discover legendary comic artist Jack Kirby’s movie influences; and much more, including columns Baron von Neck’s Mad Movie Reviews, Tales of Terror, Mike Goes to the Movies, and Castle Book Critiques!
Collectors Note: Brand-new and uncirculated. Picked directly from the printer's cartons.
