The origin of all cinematic vampires! To this day the Max Schreck incarnation of the Vampiric Count Orlok, from the famous 1922 silent film, is unrivaled in terror, style, and presence!
In 1838 Bremen, Germany, Makler Knock, a real estate agent, assigns his employee Waldemar Hutter to visit the remote castle of Count Orlock to finalize the purchase of a deserted home in downtown Bremen.
During Hutter's trip through the Carpathian Mountains, villagers fall silent when he mentions Orlock's name and warn him of Vampyres. Hutter's problems continue when his hired coach refuses to take him the rest of the way to Orlock's estate and the Count has to send his own driver to deliver Hutter to the decaying castle. Hutter, naive to the warnings of Vampyrism, finds his humor fading when he accidentally cuts himself at dinner and the Count seems unusually interested in Blood, your beautiful blood!
