This 12" Gwyllm figure is from the Outer Limits episode, "The Sixth Finger" originally broadcast on October 14, 1963.
This highly detailed figure features a large head with pointy ears and six fingers on each hand, white lab uniform, two books (The Descent of Man by Charles Darwin and Bach's Preludes for Piano) and a display base with logo.
David McCallum (The Man From U.N.C.L.E.) portrays Gwyllm Griffiths, a Welsh coal miner thrust forward into our biological future by Professor Mathers, using a machine that compresses ten thousand years of evolution into the space of a few seconds.
Gwyllm's bulbous-brained countenance is one of The Outer Limits most recognizable images, and The Sixth Finger, one of the series most creative and provocative episodes.
